The MAN behind APPLE
65
I took the liberty to write about Steve Jobs and his success as a great visionary. I believe Steve was a great man and one of the greatest leaders of our time. He showed us that everything is possible when you believe and do what you love.
A little bit about Steve
I love technology. I mean who doesn’t these days. iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad. We are all connected one way or another. You might have an iPad and I might own an iPhone. You might own a Mac and I might have an iPod. Is amazing how we are living in a time where computers and devices are very important in our lives. All I have to do to send an email is to go on my computer or I can just do it through my phone. If I want to listen to my favorite music, I can play it on my iPod anywhere I am. Everything is much easier than it used to.
A person responsible for this fact was Steve Jobs. Who was Steve Jobs anyways? Steve Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. He didn’t grow up with his birth parents. Jobs was adopted by a middle class family, Paul and Clara Jobs. He was a great lover of computers together with his very good friend Woz (Stephen Wozniak). Woz also shared the love for computer with Jobs.
MR: Jobs was a visionary who looked beyond imaginations. His ideas led him to create products that made people’s lives much easier and convenient. If we mention some of his inventions we’d know that Steve Jobs revolutionized the entire world. APPLE is the name of the company that he created with his good friend Woz (Stephen Wozniak). Woz was the engineer and Steve was the genius (the brain).
I never met Steve in person and I don't know how Steve was as a person, but we can all give testimony of the kind of man that he was. His inventions tells me that he was a man with a great mentality, extremely brilliant and he was determined to leave his mark on this planet. I don't know if he knew how far he was going to get, but I'm firmly sure that he wanted to create something really big. I believe that he sensed that people needed a change in terms of music and entertainment.
Steve Paul Jobs
The Visionary
A wise man knew that he was capable to change the way people live these days. He was very dedicated to his passion (computers) and he knew what he wanted to achieve. As I read through an article by Jeff Goodell about "The Steve Jobs Nobody Knew" on the Rolling Stone magazine (issue 1142), I sensed that Steve pushed himself to achieve his goal in an early age. "He never thought to pass his forties. Steve was deeply interested in Buddhism which teaches that souls can be reincarnated.
Steve and Woz created Apple in the garage of Steve's parents house when he was twenty years old. They introduced the Macintosh in 1984 which it was a success. Later on they released the second version and it was another success for Apple. Ten years after they created Apple Steve got fired from his own company. He apologized for screwing up, but he wasn't accepted back. Then he started other companies, NeXT and PIXAR. Apple bought NeXT and Steve was reintegrated back to Apple.
Have you watched the video when Steve gave the speech at the Stanford University? He said that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that happened to him. In the time he was out he reinvented himself and met his wife "Laurene Powell".
How can someone who dropped out of college two times be so successful? Even people who go to college and get their masters degree have a difficult time finding the key to success. In the same speech he said a phrase I like so much and it goes like, "You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backward". This is a wise talk, love that speech. It has a great encouraging message for all.
If you haven't seen the video I encourage you to do so. You'll hear the story of a man who struggled and found himself to become one of the greatest man in history. click here to watch the video
Let's recap some of his great inventions in Apple
These items will always remind me of how ingenious and brilliant Steve Jobs was. Sometimes I wonder if Jobs would have never existed. Do you think that things would turn out the same way somehow? I don't know the answer to that, but he definitely contributed so much to the world that is impossible to think about a world without Steve's ideology.
Bad News
In 2004 Steve was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was given only three to six months to live. He was subject to a liver surgery which prolonged the time given to him to live. Even though he was doing well with his cancer, his figure was getting thinner and thinner. Steve P. Jobs died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the age of 56. A great man was gone, with no ticket to return.

Good article. Like I say, "Once you've had Mac, you'll never go back." I love my Apple products, even tho there is a learning curve from Windows to Mac. Steve Jobs was a true visionary. I only hope that Apple will carry forth with that same vigor.

Cool biography with a lot of good info, but I can't help but hold a grudge against apple. I bought an ipod a couple years back, a few years ago, I bought an Ipod (new, not used)and the screen froze. I had no idea what to do because I hadn't owned an Ipod before. I tried calling apple, but they wanted to charge me money just to call tech support, and I live nowhere near an apple store, so I had to filter through forums all day until I finally found my solution. Apple is really cocky which I don't appreciate, and I wish they would focus on their customers rather than just rolling out new, expensive updates on old products. Sorry I went off on a tangent, because this was a really cool article.
